Photoshop Contest
While somewhat frightened by the prospect of the results, I'd like to challenge anybody with some semblence of digital photograph manipulation ability to create an "If They Mated..." type conglomerate (for those well-versed in Conan O'Brien lor) of Dirk and his foil, Ms. Cristal Taylor. Below are some questions a very knowledgeable acquaintance posed regarding the end of game 3 of the Nuggets-Mavs series:
ReplyDeleteFirst, why did Dallas even shoot the ball before the nuggets got it. THere was something like three seconds difference between the shot clock and the game clock. Wouldn't the right play be to stand there looking at the shot clock and when it's at one second, throw the ball as high into the air as you can? Keep it in the court and the nugs will only have a second to do anything, at most.
Second, I saw that the NBA said the refs missed "an intentional foul" on Melo. I guess, but if it was an intentional foul, doesn't that mean two shots and the ball? Or did they get rid of that rule and replace it with this flagrant 1 and 2 stuff that's so ridiculous?
Finally, why do they let teams take the ball out of bounds by their basket after a timeout? That's absurd. It's as if the NFL let you get the ball at the other team's 40 yard line or something. Makes no sense.
